1991 - 1974 BACKGROUND

1991, Dick Sackett started a successful Real Estate Sales Business in Des Moines, Iowa. EARLIER, Dick owned and operated "SACKETT'S Inc." Sackett's Inc. had multiple True Value hardware stores complete with general contracting and servicing capabilities for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical as well as constructing homes.

In his first year, 2005 he received the GOLD TEAM LEVEL for 3.5 million in sales volume. He also received the 2002 Million Dollar Club Award. Dick opened his own brokerage, OZARK GATEWAY REALTY, in January 2005 after 2004 - 2000 with Century 21 Combs Inc. He started in 1989 in Iowa at Century 21, then Coldwell Banker in IA, AR, TN. From 1974 - 1988, he owned Galaxy Home Sales & Home Construction as well as 14 year owner/operator of SACKETT'S Residential Contracting Services & True Value Hardware Stores.

Dick is past President of Cherokee Village Kiwanis, Sharp County Republican Committee member and past Commissioner for Arkansas's Emergency Response. He is a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, and its Board member for Fountain Place (assisted living). He is a life member of American Legion (Commander), Veteran of Foreign Wars, Senior Army Reserve Commander Assoc., Reserve Officer Association (Past ROA Department/Chapter President and Treasurer) and a life member of Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). Colonel, U S Army (30 yrs.), Retired, Past Pres, of Chamber of Commerce, Park Board, Retail Promotion, and Development Board President for Strawberry Point, Iowa. Additionally, Dick is a past member of the Jaycees & the Lion's (Vice President).
