The White River Medical Center (WRMC) North Complex, a comprehensive outpatient facility and urgent care clinic in Cherokee Village, will hold its Grand Opening Wednesday, July 25, 2007.

The Midway Medical Clinic; office of Dr. Tim Young; Hardy Medical Clinic; WRMC Urgent Care Clinic; WRMC Specialty and Endoscopy Clinic; WRMC Progressive Home Care; and WRMC PROS-Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy all will be included in the new 26,000-square-foot facility adjacent to the KN Medical Building. The providers at the KN Medical Building—Dr. Surinda Sra; Dr.Tommy Taylor; Jan Torbit, APN; and Dr. Jerry Ellis—will continue their private medical practices at their current location.

The new facility will consolidate all of the outpatient services offered by White River Medical Center in the area. Planned imaging services include CT scanning, mammography, bone densitometry, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. The facility also will include outpatient laboratory, rehabilitation therapies, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery suite for minor surgical and endoscopic procedures.

The Urgent Care Clinic hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday & Sunday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
